Danes are heavy alcohol drinkers at night, but slowly coffee sipper during the day. They know how to make quality time with friends, families, the loved ones, or even dates, just by a cup of coffee. Not only with companies, I've spotted some loners also enjoy their hygge-time with Macs or books in the middle of cafés.

To be honest, I'm now not partial to espresso. Instead of ordering espresso with the latte, I will select chai latte as usually. But, what is the real fun of sipping my chai latte in town while I can make it at domestic all the time? Well, it is approximately tasty dishes, latte artwork, plush armchairs and a relaxed surroundings with locals!

The fundamentals of good coffee shops can be many. But Copenhagen's best ones must undoubtedly be something special to beat an unusually strong field of cool coffee shops and glorious fun spots. The best coffee in town is probably what coffee lovers looking for. But since I'm not, I always try to go to places where I can sip my chai and wrapped by their cozy yet cute interiors. Genuinely to mention, this area is my and ex-date's favorite espresso-date location on the town. They have warm drinks however also can hit into cocktails or beers at night time. Watch out your steps to this place in Friday or Saturday night time. You aren't the best person who want to mingle with locals of their relaxed basements with candles and sofas. Or simply come at some stage in the day or Sunday, because they're pretty empty at the moment.

Small espresso keep close to the principal station with bizarre interior! The man in the picture gave me his cordial smile whilst he saw me approximately to go into the door. Let's be child and mess around a bit bit!

This is the actual gem in the hustle of Str?Get. Located inside the small alley and is like throwing stone from the oldest movie theater in Copenhagen, Grandteatret. If it's bloodless outside, do not bother yourself with blanket. Go up to their 2nd floor and find the warmness of The Little Yellow?Its name translated to English.

Wulff Konstali

I would say, this vicinity is bakery alike. But truely serve heat food and area to speak. Notice their massive lamps! It's so harmonized with their lengthy wooden table. Snap!

Let's go to the smallest hotel in the world with a whole package of its little cute coffee shop! This hotel only have one room, which is not cheap, but could bring you wondrous experience. If staying over is not what you're doing, just spend few krones for their nice coffee in the first floor. It's also winning.

Don't get too intimidated by locals who are bringing their super Macs to this place ;)

Bevar's can be so romantic (and sometimes crowded) during the night. While "enjoying" their WiFi, they also serve some tasty meals for lunch and dinner. Go grab it if you can afford it. I mean, they're not that so cheap, but definitely yummy. Oh ya, since Nørrebro is a cool district, so don't try to flirt to chic young people in the corner! All I mean is, lots of pretty people are always coming here.

Ipsen & Co

A quite new place ran by two young siblings, this coffee shop is located in an opulent district, Frederiksberg. Sometimes a bit loaded after working time, but you can still sit closer to each other in their long wood table. Their high ceiling makes this place breathable and cozy. Check out their varied menu, which is addressed to both the small or large hunger.

Atelier September

Whenever I see people upload their pictures in Atelier September, the snaps are always good and lovely. Why not trying to have a good picture while biting their avocado sandwich for lunch?

NOTE:

There's no such cheap coffee in Copenhagen. From place to place, price for a cup of warm drink is starting from 25 Krones to 45 Krones. Hey, there's a nice tall glass of chai latte which needs extra krones!

Tips PRAHA: Liburan Dari Kafe ke Kafe|Fashion Style

Setelah memutuskan memilih negara-negara murah di Eropa tengah untuk liburan musim panas, saya sudah mewanti-wanti seorang teman untuk memasukkan Praha sebagai kota terlama yang akan kami kunjungi. Teman Belgia saya, Mittchie, juga setuju kalau kami memang wajib mengunjungi Praha lebih lama.

Praha, ahh little sister of Paris, katanya. Mulai dari distrik Letna yang kalem, trekking ke bukit hingga sampai di Metronome dan melihat keindahan Praha dari ketinggian, TV Tower, hingga banyaknya bangunan warna-warni didominasi warna oranye yang manis.

Tapi saya sebal kalau hanya menyusuri Praha dari Old Town saja. Sama seperti halnya Paris, turis di Praha juga selalu memenuhi daerah pusat kota. Saya bosan tiap jalan beberapa meter selalu saja menemui aktor dan aktris K-Pop KW 3. Seriusan, mereka ada dimana-mana!

Oke, karena saya dan Mittchie juga tidak terlalu suka sightseeing dan berkumpul dengan turis, akhirnya kami putuskan memasukkan agenda wisata kuliner di Praha. Ketimbang memilih tempat makan di area turistik, saya sedikit memaksa Mittchie untuk mengikuti saya mencari tempat makan hingga ke distrik luar pusat kota Praha.

Ngopi-ngopi lucu @ MŮJ ŠÁLEK KÁVY

Mittchie memang suka kopi, tapi saya tidak. Tiada satu hari tanpa minum kopi bagi teman saya ini. Dibandingkan minum kopi di salah satu cabang Starbucks, saya lebih suka memilih tempat khas lokal. Menurut saya, salah satu cara terbaik menikmati budaya suatu tempat adalah dengan mengunjungi tempat makan lokal dan mencicipi apa yang mereka buat.

Saat kami datang ke MSK, beberapa meja sudah penuh dan reserved. Untungnya kami masih punya waktu satu jam setengah untuk menempati salah satu meja yang sudah dipesan. Saya sudah jatuh cinta dengan tempat ini sesaat setelah kami sampai di tempat. "Nice place!", komentar Mittchie.

Uniknya, tidak seperti kebanyakan coffee shop lain, di MSK pelanggan justru tidak memesan kopi langsung melalui barista. Layaknya seperti restoran, pelanggan dipersilakan menempati kursi, lalu beberapa staf akan datang mengantarkan menu. Lihat nih ekspresi Mittchie saat kebingungan memilih kopi!

One stop break @ BISTRO 8

Hujan deras mengguyur Praha saat kami selesai menyusuri distrik Letna. Menemukan Bistro 8 pun sebenarnya tidak sengaja. Saya yang kala itu ingin melihat buku-buku desain di Page Five, akhirnya menemukan tempat ini sekalian berteduh. Page Five dan Bistro 8 pun hanya selemparan batu di satu jalan yang sama.

Sebenarnya Bistro 8 lebih tepat disebut tempat menikmati sarapan ataupun brunch karena pilihan makanan yang beragam dan cukup mengenyangkan. Tidak seperti banyaknya tempat makan yang dipenuhi turis, Bistro 8 justru terletak di kawasan permukiman orang Ceko. Banyaknya apartemen di kawasan ini, membuat Bistro 8 jadi salah satu tempat favorit menikmati sarapan ataupun makan siang. Beruntungnya, saya dan Mittchie tidak menemukan aktor atau aktris K-Pop di tempat ini.

Makan Chlebicek ala Czechs @ SISTERS

You definitely have to go to this place if you're in Prague! Sisters terletak di Distrik 1 yang tidak jauh dari spot-spot turis di Praha. Tempatnya tidak terlalu besar, namun tetap bisa menikmati open sandwich khas Praha (chlebicek) di meja dan kursi yang disediakan.

Sebenarnya tidak ada yang spesial dari chlebicekdi Sisters. Di Denmark, makanan seperti ini juga bisa saya temukan di banyak tempat ataupun membuat sendiri di rumah. Bedanya, roti untuk sandwich di Praha lebih lembut dan toppingnya pun lebih simpel tapi tetap enak. Die die must try!

Selain harganya super murah, 29-45 CZK (di Denmark bisa 6 kali lipatnya!) untuk satu chlebicek, sup harian yang ditawarkan pun cukup menggugah selera. Jauhi kesalahan turis saat datang ke tempat ini! Orang-orang Ceko tidak makan chlebicek dengan sendok dan garpu, tapi langsung dengan tangan. Tidak juga seperti makan pizza, dilarang untuk melipat chlebicek agar mudah digigit. So, eat slowly and enjoy every bite!

Lunch di distrik lokal @ HOME KITCHEN

Saya dan Mittchie sepakat kalau Home Kitchen di Holesovice adalah tempat makan siang terbaik kami di Praha. Home Kitchen sebenarnya ada dua tempat, pusatnya di Distrik 1, lalu tempat terbaru ada di Distrik 7. Makanannya sama-sama enak, simpel, dan staf yang friendly. Bedanya, di Distrik 1 hanya muat dua meja, tapi tidak di Holesovice.

Ketika memutuskan keluar dari zona turis dan menuju tempat ini, saya dan Mittchie sedikit skeptis seperti apa Home Kitchen di Distrik 7. Yang kami lihat, kawasan yang dituju merupakan daerah perkantoran dan permukiman yang sepi.

Sekali lagi, saya dan Mittchie juga sama-sama sepakat untuk jatuh cinta dengan tempat ini. Makanannya memang simpel, tapi atmosfir yang ditawarkan sangat cozy. Selain makan di dalam, pelanggan juga bisa makan di luar dengan bagi perokok maupun non perokok. Karena kami tidak merokok, seorang pelayan menempatkan kami di luar dengan sisi apartemen Ceko yang segar.

Meskipun tempatnya berada di kawasan perkantoran dengan interior yang oke dan terlihat mahal, namun harga makanan di tempat ini far too good! Menu makanan orang Ceko memang tidak jauh-jauh dari sup krim. Serunya, pelanggan juga bisa menikmati roti homemade sebagai teman makan sup dengan pilihan deeping oil bawang putih, rosemary, cabe, ataupun original.

Brunch terakhir @ POLÉVKÁRNA

Sebelum packing dan menuju bandara, saya lagi-lagi memaksa Mittchie untuk menemani saya ke Karlin. Karena sudah keseringan makan sup seperti orang Ceko, brunch terakhir kali ini di Praha juga ingin ditutup dengan sup.

Jam 10 pagi, saya dan Mittchie akhirnya sepakat keluar rumah dan berjalan kaki menuju salah tempat makan sup murah di Karlin. Tidak seperti tempat makan beratmosfir Instagramic yang sudah kami singgahi, Polevkarna hanya berupa tempat makan sederhana. Beberapa tempat duduk juga disediakan di luar kafe bagi yang ingin menikmati mentari Praha.

Sup yang ditawarkan biasanya berbeda dari hari ke hari. Meskipun harganya murah, tapi makanannya pun cukup beragam, mengenyangkan, dan enak. Jangan lupakan juga side dish mereka seperti almond cake atau spinach pie.
